Request for Offer – Notification 1 (Key Action Dates)

The Exchange (Covered California) is very interested in partnering with a County to operate its statewide Service Center. In order to address the questions about the RFO submitted on November 1st, Covered California will host a Bidders Conference and is also amending some of the Key Action Dates identified in the RFO. For example, in response to comments regarding the due date of the proposal, we have amended the due date for the proposal submission to be December 7, 2012. Please see the revised Table below for other changes to Key Action Dates.

Key Action Dates

• Release RFO Date: October 29, 2012
• Questions Due Date: November 1, 2012 by noon
• Response to Questions Due Date: November 5, 2012 by 4PM
• Offers Due Date: December 7, 2012 by noon
• Notice of Intent to Award January 4, 2013
• Estimated Term Dates: February 1, 2013 through January 31, 2015
• County Board of Supervisors Approval Due Date: January 31, 2013 by 5PM

Covered California will respond to a portion of the Counties’ questions and will post the answers on its website as scheduled by 4:00 pm on November 5th. The remaining questions will be addressed at the Bidders Conference. The Bidders Conference will be scheduled for the week of November 5th. Detailed Information regarding the Bidders Conference will be posted to the website by November 5th.

Covered California is considering amendment to the RFO to further address the questions. Amendment may be reflected in an Addendum.
